The Habit of Better: Dialogic Intelligence for Schools That Learn Together
Dialogic Intelligence is a way of seeing, naming, and building the small moves that turn everyday talk into visible progress. Communication scientist, coach, and author of Coaching A-Z, Haesun Moon will share how this concept can serve as the basis for conversations that move teaching, learning, and leading forward. Drawing on more than a decade of microanalysis of coaching conversations, she will illuminate how language can open conversations rather than closing them, for example by asking “What are you getting better at?” instead of “What are you good at?” Participants will leave with the Dialogic Orientation Quadrant as a research lens for meaning-making conversations and the habit of better as a daily practice for building learning communities.
