Terese has been the Principal of Pine Intermediate School for 12 years. She supported the formation, three years ago, of an inquiry PLC, in which teachers volunteered to join in order to experiment with new inquiry-based and student-centered strategies before sharing them with colleagues in the building. After Pine teachers began reporting back powerful results with the Question Formulation Technique, D’Amico shared the strategy with other leaders in the district. Her inquiry group now includes members from several schools throughout the district.
