Shelly works within local and state educational systems to foster equity and access for all students. She exposes teachers, school leaders, and system-level leaders to research-based strategies that nurture students’ intellectual passions and ensure every student leaves school prepared for success in postsecondary education and the contemporary workplace. Ledoux uses current research on effective and culturally responsive instructional leadership, high-leverage teaching practices, and relevant student learning practices to design, develop, and facilitate professional learning opportunities for educators. She collaborates with districts and states to best address specific concerns at a system level and capitalizes on their unique resources.

This was my first Learning Forward conference experience. I was able to attend with 5 other colleagues. From the moment it started we felt welcomed and a part of a much larger community of teachers/coaches and learners.
