Michael Griffin

Northwest ISD, Justin, TX

Michael has served in school districts in Texas, Arizona, and California throughout her 25 years in education. She currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction in Northwest ISD, a fast-growth school district located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. She works with leaders at all levels of the school system to build collective efficacy in meeting the learning needs of all members of the organization. Discussion protocols are widely utilized throughout Northwest ISD as teachers and administrators work to meet the ongoing challenges of today’s learners in innovative and personalized ways.

Learning Forward’s Conference is the only national conference that focuses on the training and coaching of teachers. Over the last six years of annual attendance, we have been able to improve Tier 1 instruction, shared decision-making, morale, school culture, and teacher retention and attrition.
