Bridget has been with WINGS since 1998. Through the years, Bridget has helped to develop all aspects of the organization, from program/curriculum development to spearheading grant and research applications to growth strategies, replication, and scaling. During this time, she and our founder were leading the charge in bringing social and emotional skill development to kids in elementary schools and working toward efforts to bring SEL to the forefront of education today. Bridget took over as CEO in 2011. Since her tenure, WINGS expanded to Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC and has implemented a new partnership model – drastically increasing the number of kids.
This conference is the gold standard for high-quality professional learning because of the presenters, sessions, organization, and the quality of attendees.— 2018 Attendee
The level of intellectual stimulation and dialogue is unparalleled. There is always someone nearby or at your table who can help process new ideas or help you think about how what you’re hearing applies to your work. The balance of research and application is really nice. Getting to hear from top authors about their current projects helps me feel very informed so that I can feel abreast of current trends in the professional learning field. At the same time, the balance of topics that are “oldies but goodies” is nice because there are always new practitioners joining the conference.— 2018 Attendee
