Bret Champion

Before taking the helm at Klein ISD in 2016, Bret served for 23 years in Leander ISD as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, principal and teacher. Growing up in Goldthwaite, Texas (where he graduated in a class of 30), Bret found his passion for public education through Teach For America, where he was a member of the second corps of teacher leaders. The students he taught in Houston, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana inspire him to this day.

I want to express my gratitude for assembling a top-quality learning experience for myself as a curriculum/professional learning director and for my adult professional learning team in my district.  It was what we needed when we needed it.

Best practice is modeled; there are topics for everyone who leads professional learning in a system, and you will leave with contacts, resources, and ideas that you will use.
