Bret Champion

Before taking the helm at Klein ISD in 2016, Bret served for 23 years in Leander ISD as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, principal and teacher. Growing up in Goldthwaite, Texas (where he graduated in a class of 30), Bret found his passion for public education through Teach For America, where he was a member of the second corps of teacher leaders. The students he taught in Houston, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana inspire him to this day.

Presenters are familiar with adult learning strategies. Attendees are passionate educators who want to improve education for all. Great opportunities to interact with educators from all over the country.

I would like to commend the Learning Forward Team for such an awesome opportunity to attend the conferences which provide such awesome strategies and instructional standards that my team implements at our STEM/Science Center.
