Cancellations must be sent in writing to the Learning Forward Business Office by November 10, 2019 to receive a full refund. A 50% refund will be given to written requests received by November 19, 2019. A processing fee of $50 will be deducted from all refunds. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after November 19, 2019. Learning Forward reserves the right to process refunds after the conference concludes.

Fees for the preconferences on Saturday and Sunday include coffee breaks, lunches, and materials.

All conference sessions are ticketed and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions are open and available for selection unless they are marked Full or Cancelled. To see a complete list of Full and Cancelled sessions prior to registering or selecting sessions, click here.
After you register:
While selecting sessions, if a session is unavailable, it will display x instead of + and you will not be able to add the session to your schedule.
You may make changes to your itinerary within Session Selection until Sunday, December 1 at midnight. After this date, you will need to visit ticket exchange onsite near registration.
Go to Sessions on the website to begin your search by topic, audience type, presenter, or day or browse the pdf copy of the program and check the indices in the back to find sessions relevant to your interests. All current Learning Forward members in the U.S. will receive a print copy of the program in the mail in late August or early September. If you are not a member, request a copy by calling 800-727-7288.

The individual who submitted the proposal can log into the Learning Forward proposal system at https://lfp.learningforward.org with their user account. Select the “contract” button to view the details of the session date and time.
Learning Forward does not provide hard copies of presentations or handouts to attendees. Presenters may upload PDF and Excel files. A link to session materials will be made available to conference attendees through the mobile event guide. Download the app from iTunes or Google Play.

Presenter should not register for their sessions. This will decrease the number of seats available to other conference registrants.
Housing is not included in the conference registration process. Make your room reservation as early as possible through the conference website. Rooms fill up quickly. Please make sure to read the cancellation policies.

Learning Forward will provide all session rooms with a screen, LCD projector, 1 audio connection (either a computer or microphone), and wireless Internet connectivity. Any other AV equipment needed will be the responsibility of the presenters.
There will be wireless connectivity throughout the meeting space. If you would like to order an Ethernet connection, flip chart, pad, and markers, or other equipment, you may place the order through the proposal system online.
All meeting rooms are set in rounds of 6-8. The room will be set with AV within an hour before the session start time. Learning Forward will provide all concurrent session rooms with a screen, LCD projector, and wireless internet connectivity. Concurrent sessions with 45 or more participants will be provided with a computer audio patch and one microphone.
Presenters are responsible for bringing the adapters necessary to connect the presenter’s laptop or tablet to the LCD projector. Most LCD projectors will be connected using an HDMI cable.
Any other AV equipment needed must be ordered through the conference AV provider. Associated costs are the responsibility of the presenters. This includes but is not limited to an hardwire connection, flip chart, easel pad, and markers, or other equipment. All requests and payment for additional AV are handled directly with Freeman. All sessions at the conference will be evaluated using online survey. We ask participants for an overall rating of the session, about the presenters’ use of effective teaching and learning strategies, whether the presenters should be invited to return, the impact of the learning on participants’ work, the primary way what was learned will be used, and other comments. A report with the responses will be available to presenters through a customized link.
A host will be assigned to your session to check attendees’ session registration, help with the room set up, distribute handouts, and introduce your session.
